Find a receipt without scrolling through every photo

Instead of searching month by month, you could ask for a store, item, or date range: “find the receipt from Target with coffee,” or “show the grocery receipt from last Friday.” A useful result should link back to the saved image so you can check the original details.

This could also help when organizing purchase records for a return or comparing household spending. It would not replace the original receipt, a bank statement, or a bookkeeping record.

Ask questions across saved bills

A bill may be stored as a photo, a PDF screenshot, or an image inside a message. The planned gallery assistant aims to locate a provider bill, identify a visible amount or date, and show the image that contains it.

For example, a person might ask “show my gas bills” or “when is the Netflix subscription notice due?” The answer should be treated as a shortcut to the source image; users should verify important amounts and dates against the bill or provider account.

• Add up saved receipt amounts for a selected time period

Keep financial details checkable

Image recognition can misread blurred text, handwritten notes, tax, or totals. A responsible tool should show which image supports an answer and let you verify the detail before relying on it.

Luma is still a product concept. The examples are illustrative, and the waitlist page does not scan images or process financial documents. Its final accuracy, supported file types, and privacy approach have not been released yet.
